Ponch from CHIPS and the new puppy
 

I was at blockbuster tonight with Deena Daniels and her brand new puppy. It is so new she hasn't even named it yet. I think she should call it Cubbie after the Cubs, or cuddles as it is way cute. We went there so we could buy Dazed and Confused, so she could understand why we call one of our friends O'Bannon.

I was walking through Blockbuster in Studio City when two young girls came over and wanted to play with the puppy, no big deal right - wrong!!! Their dad came over and it was Erik Estrada, who played Ponch on my favorite TV show when I a kid growing up Chips. He told me they had six dogs, including two little ones. His wife came over and started talking to us and gave us a bunch of puppy tips. I have had seven dogs, but didn't dare interrupt her as this Poncho's wife giving us puppy tips!! We talked to his wife for awhile and walked out the same time they did, btw he drives a classic Rolls Royce.

We then pulled out Blockbuster and turned left to go Sushi Dan. After we found a place to park we walked past Ponch again as his family was getting frozen yogurt. He smiled as us and laughed and asked if we were stalking him, I laughed and said only if he was going to Sushi Dan.

I have met and partied with countless celebrities in my life, but this the first time after meeting one I called my Mom. I told my Mom and about meeting Erik Estrada and she laughed as she remembered how Chips was my favorite show when I was kid. Thought I would just share this funny story about meeting one of my childhood heroes

I can't be the only one who loved CHIPS!

Hes a cool guy, I met him at dragoncon last year in atlanta. I got a picture of him and lou ferigno having a staring contest.

Yeah I did as well.. Last time I heard anything about him he was doing day time TV in mexico.
