WOW Olympic 100m race (spoiler)
 

Who just saw that race? Usain Bolt is an absolute beast.

First he runs a 9.85 in the semi well appearing to jog the final 30+ meters, the whole time looking around at the crowd in the stands.

Now this.

Runs an unbelievable 9.69. Not only that but he shut it down with about 25+ meters to go and started to raise he arms. Hell, he even slapped his chest and appeared to high step it across the finish line.

I wonder if he's just that good or if hes doped up to the eyeballs....now a days, you just never know.

If he ran it full-out to the finish he could have been under 9.60 and into the 9.5 range.

After 12 years Donovan Bailey's record is no more.

Usain Bolt cruised to the gold medal in the 100 meters, even slowing up before the finish.

Pretty amazing to win and break a record without even trying lol

Yeah this kid is something else. What is he 21? I think this was only the 6th or 7th time he has run the 100m in competition; broke the world record his 5th race in New York in May.

I will definitely be watching him in the his 200m race. He should blow away his own world record.

no way... he didnt lose much speed... Look at his legs, they didnt slow down and he didnt lose any distance from the other runners when he started to get more relaxed.... Id say he could have done 9.65 at best... Look at all other runners who slowed down in qualif. , they all did similar times in the finals running full speed..
