Detroit airport and 5 hours of time...will we make it??

next week i have a stop of 5 hours at Detroit's airport on my way to NYC with my friend... do you guys think that it would be enough for making a visit to the city eventually? if there is anything worth at all to see?

The airport is only 20 min from Downtown Detroit and the security lines to get back in are pretty quick really. What to really go see in Detroit is another matter altogether.

5 hours isn't a lot of time to get out of the airport, go do something, and then get back in through security and all....

You won't make it, I tipped customs already. Better prepare for a full body search!
