I was in a body cast for much of high school.

But before and after that I played all kinds of sports. Hockey mostly. No school teams though.

None. At my high school no one even told me where the try outs where or if they even had them. No one told me the difference between varsity and jc. I had no one to tell me this stuff so I wouldn't have known HOW to try out even if I wanted to. I had bad high school years.

If you have no friends to tell you this shit and your parents don't know (cause they weren't born here, how the fuck are you supposed to know this shit?

Even if I did knew about it, I wouldn't have tried out anyways so it's a moot point. Either way I still had very shitty hs years.

I was an 8th in state ranked gynmast in 9th grade.
Then I quit that and played volleball for 3 years in 11-12th grades.

I wasn't that great, but I was good enough to make the team. It was fun.

It's true! I think my high school was either disorganized or you had to be part of the "in-clique" to hear about it, I don't remember them announcing it. Plus I think tryouts were held during the summer ( I think), so how people with no connections supposed to hear about it?

I suppose if someone already was involved with a sport the coach would let them know etc but for someone with no connections, it would be kind of hard.

Anyways, I hated high school and I will never go to a reunion for as long as I live.
And it's not like I had friends so no one would recognize me anyways

I owned the swimming pool in High School. Swimming was a long ass season though so I didn't get to do much else because I was pretty dedicated to it. In the fall I did cross country and later in the year I played volleyball a couple years.

Well the only sport I was ever somehow good at was soccer, I was like the Gazza Gascoigne type, very creative, I kicked all the standard situations, was quite fast and always in trouble with authorities (not to mention my extremely bad drinking escapades

).

I loved soccer and we played with my mates all the time, didn't care if it was raining, snowing or ice.

But I LOVED to do ANY collective sport as it was always fun, I remember how we once won the tournament in basketball on our highschool with a team of total outsiders, one class failed to put together a team so we put in another one - full of total anti talented guys.

Two motorically crippled twins teaming up with the smallest guy, the fattest guy in the class and me who could hardly dribble. The playtime was 2x10 min or so if I remember well.

First match we won 2:0 (no shit I scored the only points)
Second match lost 5:7 (to the same class all star team)
Third match won 5:3

We've outplayed all the proffesional guys and owned the tournament at the end, I was the most penalised guy but all the profi dudes who were 3 feets taller in average were so nervous they never scored, good times!

I was tall so I was in basketball. I was a basketball superstar. I was also in track.

I played Baseball and Football, but I wasn't nearly as good at those as I was basketball.

Football --- QB -- Varsity 3 years, only lost 4 games, got recruited to play at several Division III schools in Pennsylvania - Lehigh was one and got recruited to play at University of Delaware -

Basketball -- small forward -- varsity 3 years, scored 57 points in 2 different games junior year -

I am really happy I never played in college. Some of the guys that did are now paying for it physically.
