Let's see the list based solely on # of rapes, not per capita. It would be a far different looking list I suspect.

I have never met a Russian girl who was not sexually assaulted at some point. I think this list basically reflects where the most rapes are reported.

Per capita means is that there are so many rapes lets say per 1000 people in the country. So if there are 5 in Canada versus 2 in La-lal land per 1000 people, it makes no difference how big the country is.. Its still per 1000 people.

I see New Zealand is only #12 on that list. I'd say that's only because not all sheep make a report to police. :1orglaugh

reported rapes, big difference from actual rapes, for example in South Africa probably one in 3 women don't even bother reporting the rape, in developed countries the rate is much much lower

Here girls do GHB recreatively, and they call rape the next day... I've seen that happen a lot in bars (girls blaming otherse when she took it herself).

This list is meaningless because of the different police cultures in each country and the willingness of women in each country to report rape....

The more progressive a countries attitude the more the increase in reporting....
