Wordpress sure fucked up their image handling posting interface
 

Fuck.

It was so much better before.

Now, just to avoid using it, I ftp the images and put the tags in in html mode, but that is glitchy and fucked up too, I just lost half of a long thought out post because when I switched from html to visual it somehow mixed the image title and alt tags in with the rest of my post and ate half of what I typed in the process, then it autosaved and all I had was a bunch of crap to try to recreate from.

Fuck.

WP really fucked :)

There was a bug floating around after one of the updates that prevented you from uploading any pics at all. It's got a nice new user-interface but man the sometimes the glitches are a little redundant.

just noticed they have an 'upgrade to 2.61' now

i never use the image module, i usally use custom fields

I use an old version of the Photopress plugin. It´s simple and it works great.
