Content providers give me an advice, please

I have started about 1 month ago with www.adultczechcontent.com.Now I am thinking about my prices.I have best hardcore sets for 39 USD (top quality , 160+ pics) Do you think I would get more customers if I change basic prices about 30% off.I think I have not enought "big players" in my customers list so I must make my prices available for small TGp makers.Do you think it is a good idea?I am still thinking about that so waht do you think Cirrus,Charly, MIke etc
I really don't know because I think the prices are very good myself ...

Prices seem affordable to me. You could go the opposite route...raise the prices and only sell each set a limited number of times. Make them semi-exclusive.

I agree, I stoped producing content other then for a few customers on an exclusive basis and for DarkDollars sites, cause this idea of selling content for less then 10c an image is nutz IMO!

Agree. It costs me hundreds of dollars for each shoot I do, not including my time. Why would I give them away? I'd rather burn them (well, technically delete them) then sell as cheap crap.

You can't expect to have all possible webmasters / companies on your customer list right now if you have launched your service about a month ago. Keep up good work, visit few trade shows and do marketing. It takes time, but it's the only way to build up business. Time. 6 months - one year. BTW nice content and good prices!

I think that what you've got is good.
We've bought every set you had through Teendreams.com (our main paysite), yet as a content provider also (Cute Content), I think you've got it just right. Dont lower the prices, it makes the content to common, keep it as it is, and in the long term if you keep shooting quality sets, you'll be laughing.

We charge $799 a cd, keeps our content exlcusive.

Of course our quality is VERY expensive to produce.

I think your prices are good as they're now... I like your content but I think you must learn how to sell your work...
just be patient and you'll see the results...

The lower your price, the more people will think of you as a cut-rate distributor. They'll also figure that at such low pricing, you must be selling it to tons of people and it's either being seen or will be seen everywhere. So, make up your mind: do you want to be the Moped of content providers or the Harley-Davidson of content providers? Price yourself accordingly. As for limiting sets to only so many sales per set, this sounds good at first, until you realize that even exclusive material is going to end up in the newsgroups and photo-swapping chatrooms in a short period of time anyway. Once somebody shuts those sources of product value "leakage" down, it'll be easier to control images and maintain their value. Until then, exclusivity has an initial, but not lasting, value.

Wice words thanks.I just don't know about higher prices sets because low price sets made far more sells....it means I have customers who are not able , or simply don't want to spend some higher amount.....I am producing quality content I think so I know how much money it costs and I will be the last boy trying to destroy prices on market.
Also I know that I can not see results after 1st month so don't worry I'll be here even if sky if falling
Thanks for advices once more
J
