In the last Olympics the US volleyball girls were pissed because there were scantly clad cheerleaders there cheering for them. They then said that the cheerleaders made people take them less seriously and people tune in to see the event.

Nobody told her that the only reason they are on in prime time is because they have rocking bodies and wear next to nothing. If that sport were played in a coveralls it wouldn't even be on TV.
