How the hell to you find a contact on Adium...
 

I've been using Adium and I love it, but how the hell do you find a contact on your contact list?

click and start typing contact name

or apple D and type in .. :)

i press the first key of their nick to jump to that part of contacts or use the New -> Convo and enter their name, it usually auto completes for me

that is one thing I hate about Adium since I have started using it. I click my offline users to send someone an offline icq message and I have to scroll through so many damn names lol. Anyone know if I can sort by icq/aim/msn etc or alphabetically?

unhide inactive contacts and then just start typing while the window has focus. What I hate is when you add someone who requests and then you don't notice who it was then you can't find them again.

File -> New Chat -> Type in name or number it should autofill the rest

What Thurbs mentioned works with trillian as well. Click and start typing.
