UCJ traffic script is out of business, need help moving script
I need to change hosts and I have a couple sites using the UCJ traffic script. In the past UCJ support took care of server moves but now they are out of business and no longer respond to support issues. Here's a post about it a few months back on their own domain: bbs.adultwebmasterinfo.com/showthread.php?t=98408
I've moved the script to my new server but there is a coded file that is giving an internal server error... supposedly because it's trying to contact the UCJ's own server and validate the script. I just need to get it working at my new host. Please hit me up on icq= 454372531 Thanks! |
i love seeing these guys who reg'd back in 01' & have like 15 posts
you rock! |

UCJ is history, you need to go get a new script
|
That´s why I rarely ever buy an encoded script.
The minute the writer gets tired of maintaining it you get screwed. They all swear that the script will be supported forever and ever hehe... Good luck droog. |
Most web techs can solve this problem for you if you keep it on the same domain. I own a few copies of this UCJ script and Tim fucked us all.

i think we talked on icq the script needs to connect to his server im guessing to check see if its a valid copy he turned it off therefore no more script
|
I would probably go kick his ass if he did that to me.
Best of luck. Worst come to worst you can change to ATX, they have great support. Maybe if you explain them the situation they can have a deal for you, who knows? |
I think you could probably get it nulled by someone in a warez board.
I also know there is some chinese site that will de-zend a file for a price (if the problem file is encoded with zend.) Either way, if you plan on sticking with the script, I would pirate it. The developer screwed you over. Or try to find a new,non-encoded script. |
bump for the night shift

kektex is correct, if you can decrypt the file, you should be able to have someone fix it... reverse engineering is one option.
Do you know how it is encoded? |
droog when Tim moved my UCJs back in the day he always installed it himself... the files are coded somehow and since Tim is gone to succesfully migrate them is not viable...
unless as mentioned in the abive threads to "decode" hack or whatever the main install or whatever files But tbh maybe would be best to get diff trade scripts for your plans. |
