Whats your average ratio on the join4free programs like wegcash, xxxmags and ezines for hits in to confirmed emails? Mine is around 1:150

Average Income Per Click : 15.3¢ Average Signup Ratio : 1 in 6.6

Around 1:60 with ezines when I stoped sending traffic. I noticed countless TGPS remove their ads to the ezinebucks program. I'm not sure how your average GFY fellow is getting a ratio of 1:5 or 1:6, when anyone I've talked to is doing alot worse.

Nope, niether one....sorry. That ratio is about average for banner click traffic. Not sure what your thinking guy.

it's not average, it's very bad
The ctr on banners in general is low, but it has one characteristic. It converts good. Banners are not the most appropriate way to promote free sponsors. If you have per signup sponsors the cases where tha ratio will go over 1:1000 from banner traffic will be very very few.

Try Jesus 4 Free

Boneprone.. I tried Jesus4Free.. it performed miracles for a while then my ratio died.. but a few days later it came back from the dead and was inspirational. Good program!

my ratio started at around 1 in 150 almost a year ago but after trying a few things and getting some tips from other webmasters that promote 4 free programs I got it down to at best 1 in 4, at worst 1 in 20. Its not that hard and from the people I've talked to my ratio is no where near out of the norm.

Just let the surfer know exactly what they are getting in as few words as possible and you'll see it improve.
