You need your Google Index PIN number for that domain. Otherwise it will take forever.

Juicy D. Links 08-13-2008 04:53 PM

icq me ill let ya know

xxweekxx 08-13-2008 04:57 PM

Google Index PIN number.lmao.

anyway, i was just wondering if its possible to register a domain TODAY, and have it appear on google & yahoo in 24hr when people search for YOURDOMAIN.com

Example, i register gofuckyourself2.com, and tomorrow if you go to yahoo, google and type in gofuckyourself2, i appear..

AdultMovies.bz 08-13-2008 05:10 PM

getting indexed in google is easy, just submit your url and it will appear pretty much next day. Getting it to appear under any relevant keywords in under a year is the tricky part...

xxweekxx 08-13-2008 05:14 PM

nah i just want it to appear when i search for it..

Example if my domain is "iamthebestrookieonearth.com"

I want to appear when someone types "iamthebestrookieonearth"

feel me?

ya i submitted to yahoo they said wait a few weeks? WTF there gotta be a quicker way

It's real easy but I will not make it public here, but you can email me your username and password to your server and I guarantee in one week you will be satisfied.

I will email you cause I am not posting mine, One time job for free to prove myself.

What is your email?:)

if you cant figure out a way to get a few backlinks from sites that get crawled many times a day... then getting a site indexed in 24 hrs isn't something you will need to worry about anytime soon.

It's not rocket science man.

If you are not using Google's webmaster tools, then you should be. Sitemap, tracking tool, etc.

Submit the domain to Google as well. Link to it one heavily crawled sites. Any, or all, of these will have your site indexed in no time. I do all of them, and in 24 hours it's in there.

As for a single, 'magic bullet', dunno. I have always done multiple things.

mattz 08-13-2008 09:50 PM

Just link to it from a few other sites, should get spidered pretty fast that way.

Always the joker aren't ya?! How went the move?

Phil 08-13-2008 09:59 PM

I am no brain child in SEO but come on. Two links from pr3-4 domains will index any site in 48 hours. I don't know about placement in se but it will be there.

xxweekxx 08-13-2008 10:23 PM

in google yeah.. yahoo is a bitch tho.. got some domains linked for months and they came out in google in 24hr.. not even in yahoo yet..

MediaGuy 08-13-2008 10:43 PM

Before one of our clients' fresh virgin urls has even a bare-bones template index page online, the G has often indexed it's coming soon pagein the first twelve to 24hours... - if you get anything online, just make sure you fill it up with related-text content and description and your site name or title prominently included...

Google guesses at site URLs now...

:D

xxweekxx 08-13-2008 10:52 PM

how about yahoo

My 3 year old could get indexed in yahoo within 24 hours...

Hell my nieces get there myspaces indexed within 6 hours in all the search engines....

Are there really people having trouble getting indexed....?

Varius 08-13-2008 11:54 PM

I find on brand new domains with no previous history and no other sites linking to it, fastest way is to add it to google webmaster tools, verify it and submit a sitemap. The sitemap and data will take a few days to show stuff in there, but within 12-24 hours you can find your domain in the search engine at least.

This isn't really relevant assming her myspace page is hosted on myspace.com or linked to it from there, of course it will be indexed really quick in such case :)

xxweekxx 08-13-2008 11:57 PM

i have no problem doing google.. the problem is yahoo.. any sites that yahoo spiders a lot and i can put a link on there.. or something?

GOOGLE i got in few hrs.. yahoo is the prob

Varius 08-14-2008 12:01 AM

For Yahoo, you can use this which works for me:

http://search.yahooapis.com/SiteExpl.../www.yahoo.com

replace appid by your Developer ID for that tool, and url by your page obviously :)

You need a Yahoo Developer ID first, which you can apply for if you don't have one. Once you have one though you can use it for all your new sites.

From their page:

Site Explorer API: Notifying Yahoo of Changes
Tell the Yahoo! Index when you have new content available.

The Update Notification service allows you to notify Yahoo! when your site changes. You may notify us about a single page, or a set of pages that need attention.

It works on new sites, I used it on one last week and it was in Yahoo in about 4 hours.

Not quite right.

I have had sites show up with decent keywords in less than 5 days.

xxweekxx 08-14-2008 11:52 AM

yahoo is still my prob..

xxweekxx 08-14-2008 12:33 PM

nobody knows a trick to get domain crawled by yahoo in few hrs??

for google, digg works perfect.. yahoo search kinda sux they dont even crawl digg that often

rowan 08-14-2008 02:39 PM

I posted a URL to an experimental site in a thread on another webmaster board, it was showing up in Google's index about 6 hours later, and receiving keyword based (not "domain.com" searches) referrals.

StarkReality 08-14-2008 03:01 PM

Ok, here is how to do it, quick and dirty without the help of any special tools or resources:

1. Google for "ping blog" (yes, it doesn't matter if your site is a blog, any crawlable URL is fine)

2. Ping the URL via the services you find, just try to avoid pinging the same services multiple times. The crawlers of all big search engines, including Yahoo, will arrive within a minute after the pings. Again, the spider will come, no matter if it's a blog, if it has a feed or not. Check your logs, it's almost instant.

3. Create an account at http://myweb.yahoo.com/, it's Yahoo's own social bookmarking service, and add the link there.

4. If you added links to your new site on other sites, ping these URLs with your link on them as well, so the spiders find the links quicker. Keep in mind, not too many links at once, just a few.

This doesn't guarantee you'll show up in Yahoo within 24h, but it's an easy and pretty effective way that works most of the time.
