Hun & GFY powerless against Drawnsex?
 

All day long I have been following the attack on GFY by drawnsex. The Hun mentioned on many occassions that he would be taking drawnsex down through img srcing and other methods.

Well, I wanted to find out what all the fuss was about. So, I surfed over to drawnsex.com. For a site that is supposedly being "taken down", the pages load amazingly fast. (In fact faster then my server...the bastards...)

And, if you click on any of the links, they all go to GFY. Is everyone completely powerless against this type of action. Just curious why can nothing be done? And why hasn't a simple operation like blocking drawnsex's referring IP been successful?

I am always amused about the "Paper Tiger" threats that go back and forth on this board. This case once again demonstrates that the threats do not hold much water.

And when I hear of TGP owners like the Hun getting their knickers in a bunch because they have to deal with bad galleries, etc...I must say my sympathy runs pretty shallow indeed. These fellas seem to have forgotten that in no other line of business could they expect to make hundreds of dollars an hour for basically doing nothing. They have gotten spoiled. Realistically, if 90% of the galleries were garbage and only 10% good...that is still a pretty damn good return on investment.

Opps, I edited my post a little to slowly. I agree...this can be work..I too put in a good number of hours each and every day. But I fully expect to have to put in this amount of work, and expect a good number of bumps along the way.

The attack was stopped... drawnsex was completely down with a img src with part of my traffic... it was a strong warning, not a lot more. If this guy continues he's got a lot more coming...

7:00 a.m Saturday morning and a quick check on drawnsex still delivers a faster resolve time then either the Hun or GFY. Plus drawnsex's links still point to GFY.

Boy, can I be the next in line for this "mother of all wars". It seems to do wonders for the speed of the attacked server.

Still curious as to why GFY hasn't blocked traffic coming in from Drawnsex's ip.

Not my fight, but don't you understand? TheHun is NOT sending the hits here, DrawnSex is!! ALL his hits and I'm sure he's getting a ton of hits from many places to that main domain since he redirects a ton of galleries everyday!

This is not a hun issue, it's a DrawnSex issue who is still redirecting all his traffic to GFY.

Just inform his host about his shit.
If they don't listen then send his network a lil more traffic then this.
There's always a way to take his servers down for a long time.

Because he doesn't get any traffic, it hardly even shows in the logs. But go ahead and try it now.

I've never worked harder in my life than I have in the last 7 years. The site goes with me everywhere. The only way anyone will know I've died is that all the sudden one day there won't be an update. Gee Thanks.
