Still waiting on Sundin
 

We're well into August and still no word on where (or whether or not) Mats Sundin will play hockey this year. I'm starting to seriously doubt it will be in Toronto, but one never knows.

I think he might retire.

Fuck Sundin. He better retire or come back as a leaf or I have lost all respect for him. He was asked last year to leave so the leafs could rebuild and he refused. So if he goes and signs with a new team that is not cool.

he ll go to Vancouver... Montreal has only 6 mil for him.. and Toronto will battle for the last place this year...

screw sundin... he has really screwed with a lot of people this summer..

last place equals best shot at John Tavares and I am ok with that. I dont think even Sundin can help the Leafs contend this year. Any guesses on the first line if he doesnt come back? Not lookin good

i think sundin will linger until the halfway point of the season. Its a trend going on in the nhl with unrestricted free agents towards the end of their careers. They need to put a rule in fast to stop this bullshit, its not fair to the teams or the fans. Couldn't do this bullshit in the old days....

I hope he stays in Toronto.he's good but not worth 10 million a season.
