rumored to be going home from the hospital and preparing to die my grandfather they told him go home and wait to die u have a couple weeks left they were right:(

great actor great man and one great looking dude :Oh crap

When my father was in the hospital the doctor told us he had two weeks and that is exactly what he had. My Father fought and struggled to make it and it was difficult to watch him struggle.
My Father died of Lung cancer August 2005 and there isn't a day that goes by that I don't think of him alot.

My dad met him once at Road Atlanta - my dad being the dumbass that he is asked Newman if he could buy him some boiled eggs.

Newman is legend! Cool Hand Luke one of the greatest movies ever.
