How Many Of You Still Have Your Best Friends???

How many of you still have your best friends the ones that you meet back in grade school, from elementry school, middle school, or High school?

What grade did you meet them in? How old where you? What where your best times ex- Drug trips, Girl hooking up/ banging encounters, dumb stuff like stealing, getting in trouble) ?

Worst times ex - Fucking your girl, fist fighting over dumb shit, screwing you over ?

And are you still best friends after worst times you've had with them?

What broke your friendship up? if you don't have this person as your bestfriend anymore.

Or how many people whish they still had their best friends ?

My best friend throughout my grade school years tried to fuck my wife (now ex) while she and I were separated for a time....

So no....he and i don't speak. And to my knowledge his attempts to get in her panties failed miserably. But at this point, I really could care less.

Yeah, I have tons of friends now, and a few that I'm really close to. He was a shit, always will be.

I love those old memories that I had in Elementry school, middle school and highschool. I still have some of my best friends from high school, middle school and even elementry school. We all have and create new good memories every time we hang out.

I know everyone here use to have your old crew of best friends having em all hang out and do fun shit and dumb shit best time where hooking up with as many random local hotties as we can kinda like a competition.
Smoking pot, fighting and stuff where also fun. Making money.

I have always had 5 close friends for the last 25 - 30 years. I make new friends here and there but at the end of the day. It's those 5 friends that have been there good or bad and If I had to make one emergency phone call. It would be any of those 5.

Same here.

I still have some of my best friends. Not all of them though. Some, I found out later, were just friends of convenience. We were after the same shit, and 'friendship' was loosely based.

I still have one from from grade school, when grade, I am not sure. I wanna say 5th or 6th. Then another from 7th or 8th. Another from right after high school/first year of college. Lived with him for a time as well. So that would have been around '90. Then I have probably my closest friend of the bunch in my old college roommate. I've known him since '94.

Between all of them, they are all like brothers. We would do anything for one another, and have. From helping, to loaning large sums of money, to letting them crash on the couch, some petty crime, clubbie clubs for years, parties, and so on.

Plenty of good times.

I am one of those people who is lucky I guess. I found the right group. However, I am loyal to a fault, and tend to remain that way once you are 'inner circle'. Just to get to that point, male or female, is a task. So once you are in, it's like a club I guess.

Which is not to say you can't be discarded. There are some friends of convenience long gone.

AnniKN 08-11-2008 10:42 PM

Didn't have any valuable friendships before highschool except for a female friend who I don't see much due to work and such and she not using the internet.

I have two male best friends, met them 8 years ago and we are just way too compatible, we haven't even fought... ever. It was just an instant click. We are the offbeats and always have been so we don't have the traditional stupid stories to tell. Similar goals, similar interests, similar tastes, but each bringing something unique to the equation... people think we've known each other since we were babies, heh. I think it's karma's overcompensation for the shitty people around us elsewhere.

I still keep my high-school best friend ...

Lol good writing of your good memories.

TondaB 08-11-2008 10:49 PM

My best friend we went to elem. and middle school together but never knew it. I met her in 1996. We have been through alot together. She is like my sister. Some of the good times include going to Dallas and having to take turns sitting in the lobby of the hotel while the other used the room:)

Antonio 08-11-2008 10:53 PM

I have all my best friends, one from the time we were 6-7 years old, the other 3 from highschool, two rock solid guys from the University too

Adam_M 08-11-2008 10:53 PM

I have a very good friend from 5th grade.

Our families get together every month or so for the weekend and we always have a great time.

GigoloShawn 08-11-2008 11:00 PM

The oldest friend I have has been a friend for about 18 years, which is over half of my life. I've had many come and go since then, but none of those I'd classify as "best friends."

clickyoucutie 08-11-2008 11:10 PM

Met my best friend in about 5th grade and we are still best friends. Not really any bad memories, maybe a few mean things said to eachother back and forth out of anger. Get along pretty well still.

DefaultMan 08-11-2008 11:13 PM

My three best friends right now are the same ones I grew up with. One I met in 2nd grade, he's married and living in MD so I don't get to see him too often. The second one I met in high school and he lives out here in LA now so we hang out at least once a week. The other one I met in college and I work with him now (see my sig and guess who that is).

Wow sounds like your family and your friends family get together pretty well, it is pretty rare for friends parents to hang out.

Monthly and weekly isn't much to hang out. I hang out with my buddies almost everyday.

I also do business deals with my good friends.

Yeah you guys party and shit ?

Violetta 08-11-2008 11:59 PM

most of them... My best mate lives across the contry, but I talk to him every week, and try to visit as often as I can!

Sarah_Jayne 08-12-2008 03:13 AM

I haven't seen my best friend from 1st grade on up since the day after graduation. We were starting to move apart anyway but then when we both went to university and then I moved to the UK the gulf was just too big.

Holly 08-12-2008 07:31 AM

I have a group of about 10 that I grew up with. I still live near some, so they're in and out of my house almost every day. Best friend #1 I've had since we were 5 and #2 since 3rd grade.

The out of town ones drive or fly in several times a year and we do holidays and take vacations together. I also have another group from college that I see a few times a year.

pornguy 08-12-2008 07:37 AM

I have not seen or spoken to anyone that I went to school with in more than 15 years.

nico-t 08-12-2008 07:40 AM

real 'best friends' are very rare. dont have any 'best friends' from my youth.

seeandsee 08-12-2008 07:43 AM

3 friends, 1 from elementary school, 2 from high school (one of that 2 was at colleague with me after high school)

Jman 08-12-2008 07:56 AM

I do, we been friends for about 22 years and probably will be for at least another 22 ;-)

raven1083 08-12-2008 08:12 AM

don't have anybody except my family.

emac 08-12-2008 08:13 AM

We've been friends for more than 10 years now and we're partner in this business.

96ukssob 08-12-2008 08:17 AM

I moved around a lot when I was younger, so it was hard to keep really close with friends.

LauraLee 08-12-2008 08:27 AM

From a very young age I met and became very close friend with 3 gals. I have known them since I was 3, 4, and 7 years of age. We are all still very close and speak or email daily. Although 2 of them have moved away we still all fly to see each other regularly.

I am blessed.

silvercash amber 08-12-2008 09:33 AM

i am still friends with my best friend that i met in 7th grade and we have been friends for 11 yrs. my other best friend i have been friends with for 8 yrs. i love them both and i couldnt ask for more

notime 08-12-2008 10:08 AM

I still have all my best friend since I was around 12 to 16, they now all have kids & jobs but the trust is still the same and I see them every week or month and if not I mail or call them

Elli 08-12-2008 11:21 AM

I still have my very best friend who I met in grade 5, but most other people have come and gone. My current friends are mostly friends from the last 5 years. School was more of a studying time for me than a social time, unfortunately.

Kudles 08-12-2008 11:41 AM

I have none

Well thanks to Facebook I have been able to keep up with mostly all of my friends from childhood..

I am very easy going never been in a single fight with a "friend" so the only reason I have lost best friends is because i'm slightly a loner and don't keep up the fone calls and quality time like I should.. and drift apart..

I still hang with the same guys i hung with in high school. Of course i've met cool people along the way but they fall into the tier 2 and tier 3 friends. Sometimes a tier 2 friend can make it to tier one (and it has happened once or twice) but a tier 3 friend never get's to tier one. Tier one friends get gifts and drinks on xmas and birthdays. Tier 2 friends might get taken out for drinks on their birthday. Tier 3 friends might get a call on their birthday if i remember.

There is a group of about 6 of us. But it's wierd because some guys in the group are closer than other guys in the group but we all still love each other the same. Of course we've had our differences, almost fought, didn't talk for a few weeks, but at the end of the day we're still boys to the death. All any of us has to do is make a phone call.

The thing about best friends is that it's easy when you are young because you all do the same shit and dont really think for yourself that much. However; as you start to get older you notice how different you and what you thought was your best friend are. It is at that point you know if you guys are really best friends or convenient friends. I've learned to accept all of my boys for their short comings as i have them to. I let them be them and love them for who they are. That's what friendship is all about.

Manowar 08-12-2008 05:31 PM

Nah, they went off and did other stuff around university/college time. Oh well
