With good conduct he'll probably do half the time. Not sure how it works in the states... I know here some get away serving only 1/3rd depending on charges and behavior in the joint.

That sucks but it wasn't obscenity charges. It was racketeering and money laundering from what I read. Anyone know any details on what that was all about?

Is there a longer explanation on this case written out somewhere? I don't understand what the racketeering charge would be for. That's a long ass time for someone on such a charge. I can remember tons of people who were laundering or commiting tax evasion of tens of millions of dollars and only receiving a couple years in jail.

Oh man that sucks.. Ouch doesn't even start to cover the kick to the balls he just got.

The case really had more to do with hardcore content production than anything else...

The RICO charges were something the DA allowed him to plea to in order to forgo a trial that would have taken 3 weeks and had over 100 witnesses. It also allowed him to plea to less time.
