Well, After all the fun we had at the Internext I guess we had to pay back for it :1orglaugh

What's better after "Real Live Drama" in the bus ride back to the hotel, than some Nasty Airport Delays ? :winkwink:

Our Sunday afternoon 3:10 flight to Newark have been delayed for about 3 hours...
And our 9:05 flight from Newark to Quebec have been canceled, (Extreme Weather)....

Lots of flight were delayed and my fear was that all the hotels around EWR would be full, So, I booked an hotel room in Newark from Florida on the net before leaving...... "Man I'm a genius.. LOL"

We finally departed from FLL at 6:45, Great we're in the sky now "isn't it FANTASTIC??"... About an hour or two later, someone had a heart attack in the plane, so we had to land in emergency in Norfolk Virginia to get the person to the nearest hospital ASAP.... Got grounded for about 2 hours and a half...

Then got airborn again around 11:00 PM ...

Got finally at Newark around midnight...

Had to check with Continental for a replacement flight. We were guaranteed on tonite's (Monday) 9:05 PM flight, but she said we could try to "stand by" this morning...

They didn't have any hotels voucher anymore... "Wait ? I already booked a room, isn't it FANTASTIC??" .. Nah.. Hotels are Overbooked now...

Finally got in our room at 2:00 am, no luggages, nothing... And I'm dying for a toothbrush... LOL

Got up at 5:00 am to get at airport ASAP in order to get high on standby list.....

Finally got lucky and could jump in first today's flight at 9:15 this morning...

Got here in Quebec at 11:50... "Cool we're home!... isn't it FANTASTIC??"

Nah... our luggages haven't make it.. yet.... So we need to go in line at Continental desk to file a report.... Give the details, sign a customs release form and stuff....

- "Ok Can we go now ?"
- "Wo wohlah Minute champion" Said the "Friendly" Customs Agent...
- "Can I see your declaration?" Then he started to look at my lost report and customs declaration. But the "Brilliant" Customs Agent was comparing Patty's to mine, then started to ask question about differences between what SHE had declared and what I did declared on my Lost Form.. Anyway they finally let us leave... "isn't it FANTASTIC??"

GREAT. I'm now dying for a shower... Get in a cab and give him home address..

- "Oh this is a flat rate there..." Said the "loveable" Cab Driver...
- "Hu ? No! All the cabies make it by counter, it is about 2 minutes from there.."
- "Na nah Nah It's the law, blah blah.. "
- "Ok ok Man, make it Flat rate. I don't want to argue with you. we're in airports for the last 24 hours and I don't need this BS"..

Then the "gentle" Cab Driver got bezerk and dropped us out of the cab.... :Oh crap

Se we need to get another cab...

Finally got a good one and got home....

Man sorry to hear about that. specially after the bus incident.

damn that's one hel of story .. at least you stayed up beat :)
