    best way to send mailing lists (mainstream)

    One of my clients has a 5000 email list of old customers they want to email all mainstream.

    Whats the best solution for this?

    Is there a way to send it in house?

    Mailing program?

          Phplist is powerful and free. If you are on shared hosting you'll have to throttle the send rate otherwise it will bog down the sever and thus piss off your host.
