what's a good ftp client for mac?
I use both Transmit and Cyberduck but they both seem to suck compared to some of the PC equivalents. Anything else out there that is decent?
The issues I have right now are poor time estimation if it shows anything at all, poor resume capability. Each time it drops the connection or has an error I have to check the folders and see what folders were uploaded successfully and which ones weren't. To make matters worse they don't upload the folders in order consistently. |
try Yummy FTP

I use Coda. It has some problems with resuming but so far it's miles better than all other Ftp clients that I tried and I also use it for coding, etc.

How does transmit suck? i've been using it for like 8 years?
Edit: nm i reread your post.. I never have any problems like that and resume often as I constantly lose my wifi connection... |

Try Captain FTP.
http://captainftp.xdsnet.de/ It beats the shit out of transmit. That is one of the most overrated pieces of shit in history. Going from FlashFXP to transmit is a massive step backwards. |

I like simple FTP programs and Fetch is the most simple and stable and Netfinder is next on my list.
