how do you make your domain show up on search engine??
 

say i buy a domain, xxweekxxowns.com

How do i make it appear on say yahoo search when people search for xxweekxxowns.com

Im talkin no other competitors,etc.. I tried submitting it to yahoo but itll take months.

There gotta be a faster way to get your own domain indexed.

You buy Domain.com

You want your site to show up, so that when people visit search.yahoo.com or GOOGLE.com and type in "Domain.com", it appears. I bought new domains and i want them to show up

The length of time just depends on that company. Yahoo is weird, it is difficult to get listed if you do not pay to be a part of their directory. The rest of them will pick you up eventually but submitting makes it that quicker. I've had urls show up on google within days, sometimes it takes a month though.

Submitting to search engines is completely unnecessary and dmoz doesn't seem to list shit anymore.

Yep, like I said they will eventually pick it up but he specifically asked how to submit so I gave him links ;)

Try linking the text to an inner page, then write a blog entry about the site from a different IP.

There is something up, I just checked out a few domains that have nothing but the default Direct Admin page, and Yahoo has them as #1 (as it should be).

my point..Im just wondering how i can be on there WITHOUT getting linked from another site.. ive seen other sites do it

ya.. anyway its ok.. i was just curious.. ive seen new domains appear in a day or two on google without links.. i mean google did pick up my site..and no other site links priceseekmarketing.com
