Most brutal movie / documentary ever made?

Someone here posted a thread on a gore forum that had a list of the most gory / brutal movies ever made... this was #1 on the list. So I ordered the DVD. Philosophy of a Knife.

I think I'll enjoy this more than the standard slasher / gore flick because it has history behind it (Unit 731)... The fact that it is true really has me anxious to see it.

Anyone seen it? What did you think?

Looks pretty good. Guinea Pig series is an older one, filmed in the 80's hence if you watch it through the eyes of a 2008 kid, it seems a bit cheesy, but back then those were the goriest movies ever. Charley Sheen reported one of them to the FBI cause he thought it was the real snuff film.

That trailer shows some titties at 2:37 the rest is pretty scary.

"During some experiments prisoner's bodies would be dried with a stream of air, scalded with hot boiling water, autopsied alive, electrocuted, decompressed, receive animal blood transfusions, be tortured by frostbite, fire and water.

My buddy just introduced me to a Japanese flick called "The Royal Rumble". If you dig this kinda thing, you've GOT to see it.

The Japanese girl doing the "this is what's happening and how to play the game" video for the kids is fuckin' AWESOME!

I don't think it's ever been released in the U.S by try to get a hold of an early 80's documentary called 'The Killing of America'. Primarily it's about gun culture, serial killers, political assasinations...and it's all real. Scary stuff.

pocketkangaroo 08-10-2008 02:25 PM

I've read about the stuff that went on over there. The Japanese were some fucked up dudes.
