Australian police claim 'world's largest seizure of ecstasy' .....
 

SYDNEY (AFP) - Australian Customs and police said Friday they had seized 4.4 tonnes of ecstasy tablets worth nearly 400 million dollars, describing it as the biggest haul of the illicit drug anywhere in the world.

I guess someone didn't get paid off. Anyone who thinks these massive amounts of drugs are coming into the country without HELP from Australian Customs are very naive. Did you also read that the individuals actually never came to pick up the delivery? Oh how did they know it was being watched! Australian Customs is good at picking up the small time drug mules, but it is also massively corrupt. All Australia's drug agencies are really, remember it was only a few months ago the SECOND highest Australian police figure headed with tackling drug importation was busted for being part of a drug syndicate himself! They don't ship half a billion dollars worth of drugs in tomato cans and hope, believe me lol.

Doubtfull, i think those days are long gone, the world is flooded from what i can see, busts in europe no matter how big don't seem to do anything about supply or price.

I just saw this in Spain. The wholesale price was .90 euro/ according to a friend. How do you stop that? Street price was cheaper then a bottle of water. I never did see any or anyone do it. But lots of big eyes....

in europe average price=2-3 euro , in australia = around 7-8 euros :)
