Brett Favre was reportedly traded to the New York Jets on Wednesday night. The Jets send a draft pick to Green Bay for the future Hall of Fame quarterback, who severed ties with the Packers on Tuesday.

This isn't an ideal situation for Favre. Tampa is an immediate SB contender - but the JETS? Sure they have started putting pieces together with their o-line and defense, but I don't see them as contenders for years.

I wonder if he retires again.

Makes no sense for Favre to go to the Jets, he will be miserable.

Another great QB finishing his career somewhere other than he should have, just like Namath, Unitas, and Montana.

just read it, thought he was gonna go to the bucs, now he has some teams to compete with for the playoffs for sure..... jets have been upgrading but damn i dont know if its enough to get past the AFC teams

Yeah, Packers should have just kept him and played him. They will suck this year now with Rogers

Rodgers could turn out to be superman in a Packers uniform, but right now he looks horrible. They showed the Packers scrimmage last night and he was horrid. Green bay should have never let Brett get away and I hope it comes to bite them in the ass.
