coders: 'incremental' find and replace?
I'm wondering if there is a tool anywhere that can do an incremental type find and replace?
say you have a long list of of code and the only difference between each line is that they have an incremental part, and you want to take each line and add a small extra piece of code, but also including that incremental number in part of the new code piece is there some kind of utility to help do that? ] |

Notepad++ is great, been using it for 6 months now and absolutely love it.

if you're a coder, you should be able to write that in 5 minutes... or less.
