The Canadian Dollar is at 1.04221 to 1 USD

Is the Canadian dollar returning to 1.08 or 1.10 for every 1 USD ?

( Stat taken from: http://www.xe.com/ )

I don't want to ever look at the FX rates again. I did a massive FX at 1.011 last week and now its at 1.04, that translates into a 5 figure difference for me :(

See why renting is better? Didn't we just talk about this? :(

Sucks man I feel for you :/

But I do love being able to move anywhere I want on a month's notice. You never know what life can bring, and I'm just not a real estate investor.

But dude be happy, you obviously thought it out, let the money thing slide. Just think that you took $x from your business to pay yourself, you did what you wanted with the money, and you should keep the money making to your business ventures. If you can make the seperation of money from your home, maybe you'll enjoy having it more and worry less.

Plus, if the dollar goes down another 5-10% over the next year, your business will have made that loss up many times over.. Unless you keep everything in USD all the time.

In answer to the poster no. The dollar will be weak for a few more months at least. The slight bump up for the dollar was due to the fed not doing anything rate wise and also falling oil prices. I don't see things getting peachy for long.

Does anyone here trade forex? I cleared just shy of 4k tonight shorting the EUR/USD. It's starting to turn long here if anyone's watching/trading.

And bang just like that from nearly 1.0438 back down to 1.0423 and going south.

ps it was 14k not 4 :) I love this business.
