...while I wouldn't sell everything I own to clone my pet, I certainly understand her desire to do what she did. And now look at how happy her money has made her.

I remember some movie where a guy had perfected cloning, and offered to clone someone's recently deceased partner... the catch is that she would start as an embryo so there would be some time to wait before she was an adult, and there would always be that physical age difference. It's a dog; in countries that are not ours, it's food.. like we look at cows. I feel that most of the animal's personality grows as it adapts to it's home, sure, but it's still just a dog.

$50,000 could help a lot of animals in shelters/ rescue organizations, the same place she got her beloved "Booger."

Someday I hope they will perfect human cloning with the ability to transfer the mind and memory from the original brain into the clone.

I look forward to the day when I am 65 years old and can have my memories and mind uploaded into the brain of my 21 year old clone. :1orglaugh
