Force 404 for real?
Has anyone figured out how to stop these guys? Are they really making that much cash?
http://www.force404.com Is this for real? How do they sleep at night? |
kill them
|
Sneaky
|
The price of it is so fucking far out to lunch I cant believe it. Who the fuck would be stupid enough to pay that?
Fuckin honestly! |
Yes, they are for real, and the price is absurd - I could make something like that for 20 bucks.
|
The price makes you wonder if it's really generating that much cash. Things that make you go hmmmm....

(within 2 minutes after posting that I got 3 idiots asking me on ICQ if I could sell something like it to them - fucking morons) |
seems like most of the tgp scripts would catch that anyway.
|
LOL - well it says you have to only use 1 recip per gallery so there is a dead giveaway.
|
1 recip, then 2 fake ones to your friends. Most recips get paired anyways since bigger tgps like to be paired with similar sites of size. So that doesn't work.
I checked the source and can't see anything unusual. How would scripts catch this? They say the script is hidden on the server and can't be accessed by other scripts. It looks invisible to me. Not an amateur job. |

Maybe we should get rid of banners all together and just slip in a full page 404 10% of the time. Like a commercial break.
It's just hard to get an industry to change their old ways. I'm sure if that script was more socially acceptable the price would come down. |
Am I right in thinking this is how it would work...
custom .htaccess file sends all 404 from the gallery directory to a script. That script handles all the IP blocking etc. If its showing a 404, it redirects, otherwise it reads in an image file (based on what URL generated a 404) and then outputs the image. It sounds to me like it would be super easy.... |
If that was the way it was designed, then do you think brownie or one of the other tgp scripts detect it?
Though I think it's a little more complicated than that. |
how the hell would you test for that? If ot shows the JPGs every time to brownies IP.

I was about to open a tread for force404. Couple days ago, i started to click on my links, in the first click I went to the dialers and pop up crap and then whenever i click to the same link I go to the gallery. Then i sent the link to tyrex of tgpsoftware and he says he never get the pop ups. Today, I again clicked on the gallery and no pop ups at all. Also, I found out that there are more galleries with the same crap. So, yesterday I asked for a pass for force404. Well, good thing is they do not have a real pass system.
Just go here http://www.force404.com/members/index.htm Btw, The website is hosted at CANDIDHOSTING |

Im gonna give a try to making this JUST FOR FUN (bored).
|
Isnt this the shit they used to redirect The Hun traffic to GFY earlier today?? .. sure sounds like it
|
Software that successfully takes the Hun's traffic? Intriguing...
|
Until the surfers email the webmaster tell him that it's a cheating gallery

I cant tell a few people are going to have threads from TGP owners bitching them the fuck out soon... If you can't get traffic without cheating you won't be here long. Adios Motherfuckers! :BangBang:

I imagine that those nice clean galleries are the ones to watch for since getting a lot of traffic and then scraping 10% to a full page add is the key.
The more traffic, the more 404's. I doubt any action could be taken against them. They would claim that it is an alternative way to advertise. Not much banners but then an occasional full page ad. |

no bingo for you! |
If this force404 script really works the way they say on their page it's really easy to catch.
It just blacklists the first 2 IP's and 404's 10% of the traffic. So all you need is 3 IP's and a maximum of 12 requests to catch the 404 page. If they start blacklisting the first 10 IP's you will need 11 IP's and a maximum of 20 requests to catch the 404 page, etc... |
Quote:
edit: you can also block a block of IPs from seeing the 404. |
I've been using it for a bit over 3 months now. I use it with my top paid listings and have not received 1 complaint.

Even if they blacklist the first 1,000 or 10,000 IP's you can still catch them... it gets more complicated but it's possible. |

thats low man
|
looks like the guy is using amateur pages with the id 63971773 on his demo gallery. lensman should cancel this guy.
|
I can't believe that no one has came up with a viable solution to this. I must admit, I'm tempted. :Graucho
I know a guy who uses it, that's how I found out. He said it paid for itself in less than a week. Maybe it is time for new ideas. It's advantages if the whole industry accepted this. 1. Less bandwidth hosting banners that get clicked rarely. 2. Galleries would be cleaner, making downloading faster for surfers. 3. Surfer more captivated by ad message. 4. Higher CTR. 5. If we would quit catering to the surfer so much they would actually buy something! |
good thing I've got plenty of my own galleries and don't take submissions anymore. I can see something like this being the straw that broke the camels back and makes submitted galleries a thing of the past... good one guys :thumbsup
|
How can you possible have enough galleries? People like to see different stuff daily.
Much love to the people doing TGP2, trying to starve the surfer into buying memberships. This could be a TGP3, make the surfer see a 404 10% of the time with no banners at all. |
tgp3... you know if it's on your own TGP, then more power to you, it prolly is a good idea, but when submitting galleries like that to others, it's just plain deceitful, and stealing in alot of guys' opinions. Mine included.
And trust me I have enough. people want free porn forever, but if we based everything on giving people what they want, we'd never make any money. Besides, scripts are cool. :) |
