How do I make go/site/ links?
 

Instead of linking directly, some people use redirect, so links look like http://www.domain.com/go/paysitename/.
It was posted on gfy and I had it bookmarked, but can't find now :helpme

You could just put a redirect file in every sub folder.. but Im pretty sure there's a free script that does it automaticly for you :)

The biggest reason why I redirect is to hide my affiliate codes from surfers and other webmasters. I can't really say for sure if conversions have increased as a result. And its more surfer friendly...

It's NOT Google friendly though - Google i'm finding sometimes like them and sometimes gives me errors that aren't errors, your mileage may vary.

why wouldn't it be google friendly? make it nofollow too and it shouldn't even be an issue with google
