Black Label Ads? new Auto-Optimization technology works in three easy steps:
1) Advertiser specifies a target CPA (cost-per-action) for each campaign, and places a conversion code on his site.
2) The campaign begins running and collects performance data across thousands of sites.
3) BLA automatically adjusts bids on a site-by-site basis, resulting in more conversions at a lower CPA.

With Auto-Optimization, advertisers bid on a CPC basis (for text ads) and on a CPM basis (for banner ads).
