Any children of the 70's here? I was on YouTube and stumbled on this movie made in 1979 - if you were a teenager in the 70's or early 80's isolated in the suburbs or a small town no movie ever spoke to it better. It never got released in movie theaters, I found it in a video store years later and it looked like it was worth a look. When they were scouting locations for a high school to film at they saw a kid in the hall they thought was perfect for one of the roles - no acting experience - it was Matt Dillon. It has a great soundtrack with Cheap Trick, Van Halen, Ramones - Nirvana's music video for Smells Like Teen Spirit was a bit of an homage to this movie.
if you can find it on cable or DVD - get it.

That was a great film. Wasn't that hot little blonde Cherie Curry from the '70s band 'The Runaways?'

Wow, I forgot all about that movie, I've seen it quite a few times back on HBO, but it's been a few years since I've seen it.
Definately a great flick !!
