You're dead.

Somehow, someway.. you just died. You're dead.

Consider what you've left behind. Does anyone rely on you for their basic needs? Food, nurture, love. Do you have anything of value or do you completely manage something that your loved ones will have no clue what to do about? Important emails no one else will have access to?

Do you have things you hope no one finds or knows about?

Is there anything you wish you could have told someone first?

polle54 08-04-2008 02:32 AM

if I am dead I regret nothing, wish nothing, hope nothing, love nothing.
I am dead.

plsureking 08-04-2008 02:36 AM

u selling life insurance? lol

Brujah 08-04-2008 02:37 AM

If you have no one left behind that relies on you for anything, all's well I suppose. Do you have domain names? assets? income? etc.. do you want to leave it to anyone? Do they know? Would they know how to manage it?

I think the least of my concerns is about my business or some funny email.

However there just might be a client willing to ressurect me to make sure his stuff gets done first.
Humm My guitar? Ehh thats goin in the casket with me so no one gets that thing.
The 3/4's the way built Cobra with a 351. Humm.. Guess that would have to be put on hold.

Wouldnt know what to think or say to friends and family about my death other than "How embarrassing and I had fun." Maybe one of us should create an email service that basically sends email's to everyone you knew with a message of good bye.

I can see that being a viable money making service! All email's are secret and only released upon confirmed death. Flat rate for the storage and the security of the messages. It could be branched out to attatch PDF's and Last Will's and Testament's being electronically delivered to designated persons upon death.

Fascinating its late and I think I just thought of a multi million dollar idea unfortunatly I am to tired and certainly to lazy to pursue it.

Can call it DeathMail.com or something.

Once you're dead, you won't give a flying fuck about all that anyway.

You may not, but those around you might.. and especially those important to you, or that relied on you. Spouses, children, etc..

When my mom died, she had basically left everything in perfect order. She made her wishes clear on what to do with everything, had her will up to date and made peace with everyone before she left. I hope to do the same when I die in 300 years

I still have a half dozen beers left in the fridge.

Now that I'm dead...I'm pissed I won't get to drink'em.

The same here. My mom even went as far as picking out her own casket, dress and readings for her funeral. She had terminal cancer and didnt want me or my sister to have to deal with much. The only good thing that comes out of a long term illness is that nothing goes unsaid.

Chauncy 08-04-2008 07:21 AM

I wrote out a list of info in a word document thats on my desktop so my survivors know where all the treasure is buried, yep I'm high tech pirate.

gornyhuy 08-04-2008 08:05 AM

All my mainstream customers would be confused and pissed and no one in my family or friends would have a clue even where to begin to pick up the pieces to continue the business, either financially or technically.

I should REALLY do something about that sometime soon.

pornguy 08-04-2008 08:13 AM

I have several life policies and they are documented for the family, as well as my brother listed in the event my wife and I go at the same time.

rowan 08-04-2008 10:06 AM

I'll be getting life insurance in the near future which will at the very least cover the outstanding amount on our mortgage, so my wife will not be forced to sell in the event of my death.

Still have to document all sponsor, epass, paypal etc accounts for her.

GrouchyAdmin 08-04-2008 10:07 AM

I have a word .doc called "How to find it all if I'm dead" saved on a memory stick put somewhere that my peeps could find if it becomes an issue. I can't even imagine trying to figure my life out without me and God knows the password, URLs, accounts, etc. would be a fucking maze.

The memory stick also has a video that I put together telling them all exactly how I feel about them, all. That whole "play it at my funeral" video. If you don't have one, you should. I'd LOVE to be a fly on the wall when that one plays.

Violetta 08-04-2008 01:49 PM

If they could check my email, that'd be great! Lol ..
