AC Adapters - taking over the world?!
 

The wife and I recently bought pair of GMRS/FRS radios for using on road trips and such.

Like everything else these days, the radios came with rechargeable battery packs and an AC adapter charger.

It dawned on me just how many damn things I own lately that require their own proprietary adapter/recharger.

Cell phones, blue tooths, ipods, cameras, radios, laptop computers, etc.

I'm now up to fourteen AC adapters for the various gadgets and toys. Half of them I can't even remember what the hell they plug in to anymore.

Is it just me? Do I need therapy?

Or is there some sort of nefarious global plot to inundate the world with AC adapters?

Hmm...not such a bad idea. :thumbsup

I have a full bin of AC adapters and various cords/connectors/wires in my closet. It's a four-year aftermath of my fetish for new and cool gadgets and gizmos. I'm thinking of putting it up on Craigslist: "Box of wires. Pick it up and it's yours."
