How to boost traffic without buying it?
 

i´ve always asked myself how people get so much traffic within a year, without buying it. there´s some sites with alexa 50k that are only one year old. do you have any hints how to realize that?
i mean my site is running for 4 months now, and it´s still alexa 200k and i´ve made a total of maybe 3 sales.
that´s another issue: why isn´t there any sale?

my ccbill shows 1227 unique clicks, 164 uniques sec page, 43 form clicks and not a single sale... what can be wrong?

1227 unique clicks to ccbill is nothing if you have traffic looking for free porn (reading a blog site offering free porn or samples) . It also depends where your traffic is from ? geo? SE traffic. link trade traffic?

Some sites get that much traffic because they buy traffic or the owner has multiple sites and just started a new one and sends traffic from his other sites (there are peeps with more then 100 sites around here)

There is no money in porn unless you have a lot of free time and a lot of patience!

having interesting content that creates a BONER helps

i have made most my money when promoting cam sites. also "adult personals" like community are doing very good at the moment. try pushing some of that with your traffic and measure the difference in convertion

SEO your site and you will see a huge boost in traffic

Do some proper keyword research keeping in mind search volume of Google... when you have found the terms that have a high volume then integrate such into your website... keywords should not be the one you think are cool, but rather the terms that people are using in a high volumes. Make sure your keyword density is proper... if you don't understand the term then Google it. Do use your meta tages... regardless of what others say... it does not take too long to add a few line of html !!!

Read on the subject of SEO, but keep in mind what I have above... thats the guts.

well, your basically asking how to build traffic. You need fresh content daily, text content that google can index, or tons of backlinks and link trades driving traffic to your site. Giant sites that get tons of traffic within one year usually are part of other networks of sites or have millions behind them. Or they are a tube site that buys traffic from choker. For $45,000 you can get any site to top 1000 within 1 month. Keeping it there is another question.
