If you're a serious horror buff, you would probably know by now that the new crop of exciting horror movies would come from Europe. Namely France, Spain and Sweden, things have gotten a little hardcore with Haute Tension, Frontiers, Rec, Sauna and this lovely ditty from the beautifully sick minds of French horror:

I'm a big fan of Euro Horror
It's funny that it was really hot in the 80s and such with tons of good shit coming out of Spain and Italy, then it swung more Asian in the 90's and 00's, and now Asian horror cinema is petering out a bit and it's going back to Euro...

It actually is a good time to be a horror fan...unless you're watching the latest PG13 rehash coming out of Hollywood ;-)

Oh man, if Hollywood isn't mining horror movies overseas, they're busy remaking the following Betamax/Grindhouse classics of the 80's!

- It's Alive

Hell, even Cannibal Holocaust has a sequel in the works! Geez!

You guys need to watch the Spanish movie [Rec] before the damn remake is shown this October. It rocks!

My question is....Do you guys actually get scared?

Isn't it amazing how they can show a man getting repeatedly stabbed in the crotch on Youtube, but they can't show naked titties.

They could show someone getting stabbed in the titties, as long as said titties are covered in the proper manner.

BTW, blood and gore is not necessary to make good horror.
