Seo
Everyone seems to have an opinion but what really works? Today, I checked Yahoo and Google to see where one of my sites (not adult) is listed. The site went live in January and does have a PR4 and quite a few internal pages are PR3.
The site is #1 on Google and Yahoo for the search terms I would want. In spot #2 and #3 are Alexa top 100 sites which I am sure have 10,000+ links into them. The funny thing is I have done no SEO on this site. The site is built on a template structure and has no meta other than the title which is listed on every page and there are 1000s of pages. In Google Webmaster Tools it even mentions that I have duplicate titles. Things that make you go, "Hmmmm." :upsidedow |
I guess ALL CAP TITLES no longer work on GFY. :P

kinda funny how things work like that. ive had some sites before where i have done minimal seo effort and got way better results that I would expect, and vice verse.
congrats tho |
It's probably some shitty keyword, you won't get #1 spots for any decent keywords just by some fluke... :2 cents:

Enjoy it while it lasts. Most likely wont last long.
|
never mind
|
does your domain have the keywords in it? and what about #2 and #3
|
Good for you! But like pornguy says, enjoy it while it lasts! :winkwink:

seo continues to amaze me day by day, its the weirdest of sciences
|
your site must have very small ppc value, what that means is that their algorithm thinks there is little monetary incentive for the site to purchase ppc from them thus is was allowed to climb up the serps
