U.S. Politics - Which group has more POWER? Medical/Pharmaceutical or Oil/Gas
 

As we all know it's the lobbyists and special interest groups that sway the decisions that come out of our nation's capitol with little or no concern for the actual needs of the people...

so I was wondering who you think has the most "PULL" when it comes to getting their agenda pushed through the system.

Medical/Pharmaceutical vs. Oil/Gas

Who do you think has the most influence???

Medical/Pharmaceutical are scarier to me than oil/gs, they love "sick people"...

Medical. Billions of dollars to invent drugs to sell to you to make you think you're happier. Oil just makes the car go.

Without question Medical/Pharmaceutical. They can charge whatever they want for their product and nobody says a thing. We are the only industrialized country in the world that doesn't have some kind of cap on how much pharm companies can mark up their product.

The Media is nothing more than the puppet's of the major Energy Companies/Pharm anyways. So I do not think Media counts for shit. I think we as a people now understand why the American Civilization's form of government is flawed.

We were taught that we are a Democracy and the fact is we are infact more like a Republic. These are very different types of government. When our form of government was created the concept of corporate domination was not really a concern however Carl Marx actually predicted the flaw in our current form of government. Not that Carl Marx's system was any better at systemic corruption, but it was Marx that Noted exactly how our current System becomes corrupted as well.

IN essence we as a people become enslaved to rampant corporatization, and essentially indentured servants to the system.
