Greatest invention since sliced bread..

Dang air mattress to hang between cars in a garage so they don't get door dings.

http://www.doorpal.com/

I did something similar with a moving blanket and 8 foot 1x1 a few years back when my sons had cars in my garage next to mine.

karlm 07-31-2008 03:20 AM

Thats pretty damn cool lol

Some Guy 07-31-2008 03:21 AM

I want to cover my whole car with those things.

After Shock Media 07-31-2008 03:27 AM

Pretty damn sweet, then again everything is better than sliced bread :winkwink: that was the death of good bread for the longest time.

On side note I got myself one of those flags you see hanging on scooters and attached a suction cup to the non flag end and a foam ball to the flag end. That way when I get out at a parking spot I do not end up boxed in because I cant get my chair inbetween what little space is left. Just park, slap it on, and have not been boxed it since.

Eriic 07-31-2008 08:34 AM

Some ass will scratch or kick your car just because you got that thing on your car.

When you park your car far away how often do you see that the shittiest car ever is parked right next to you? = Far to often. So that being said, I would not buy that thing.....

tranza 07-31-2008 08:35 AM

Pretty cool...They could cover the intire car with that, it would be perfect!!

tony286 07-31-2008 08:36 AM

You nose has the ability to chip paint off a truck? Pics? :upsidedow

GrouchyAdmin 07-31-2008 08:51 AM

I'd say this was a good idea, but this is about as much of an invention as the 'hang a whiffle ball from the ceiling to 'tap' the windshield so you don't drive the front of your car into the wall, you blind fuck'.

That reminds me, I need to get twine and a whiffle ball.

i wish they made these for "on the go." i always park a space away from someone or park on the line so people wont park next to me... sure enough never works and i have a few dings to prove it

Revisit the site. It hangs from the garage ceiling.

HomeFry 07-31-2008 09:18 AM

I saw one of these on a Bentley the other day. Pretty cool.

Those came out about 30 years ago ;) I THINK Ron Popeil was marketing them. I guess people just care more about their cars now than they did then as I don't remember it being a big seller.

I had garages for years and never once hit anything - I could never figure out why people had those tennis balls hanging down. And I have a HORRIBLE sense of depth perception and still managed it, lol.

sniperwolf 07-31-2008 02:13 PM

Pretty cool! though I have no reason to have one! lol

why would you park on the line? that's selfish and probably the reason that yo have a few dings.

StuartD 07-31-2008 02:35 PM

If you could cover your entire car with that, you could play bumper cars.
