Ya I just called him today. Haven't talked to the dude in about 6 months.

There's not much of a story to begin with. We drank some beers at the bar and some ass hole cop followed us out and pulled us over. We weren't wasted but he was giving the cop a hard time and refused a pbt. He must of tested positive for a "contolled substance" when they took him to the hospital and took his blood. OWI number 2 plus the other bull shit.

Talk to a lawyer protect yourself.

He didn't have anything on him. It must of been from the blood test.

fuck the pigs.. go to court and say the cop wanted to suck your friends cock and when your friend refused, he arrested your friend...

I didn't have to sign for it. It came in one of those folded tabbed type things you can tear apart. It has the circuit court address on the front with SUBPOENA stamped on. Even has the guys name and the judges name on the front. I have to return the attached envelope within 48 hours and call some number the day before the hearing.

It's legit. I called him tonight and he has to be in court the same time it says I do.

Anyways, back to work. Like 50 blogs to setup and trying to work on some dudes blogs that has a fucked up host that times out every time in the wordpress admin. What a headache.

I gather that your friend's attorney did not subpoena you to testify on his behalf. That means the state wants you to testify against him. Kind of weird. Never heard of that happening before.
