Actually, we would love to distribute our DVD's too, so, if MaDalton doesn't mind we would like to be 2nd in line to talk to the distributors.

Ah, fresh meat soon to be chewed up and spit out. Be very weary who you deal with, most of the wholesalers with extend out your payment terms and NEVER pay you for product, even ones AVN might know or be their advertisers. Not to mention backdoor your product and distribute the content in ways not authorized in the contract :)

Chances are you will not get paid by whoever you go with. There are only a handful of reputable companies left out there that will actually distribute product that they do not own. Right now the majority of the DVD industry is on a serious decline and would LOVE to get their hands on new product that they didn't have to pay for and could possibly fuck you out of.

Most of the people I know in the DVD game have been fucked out of large sums of money, and sometimes even get fucked over and get their masters stolen. And as common stated above, many will run off more copies of your DVDs and move them out the back door without you knowing. There are even cases of known companies getting caught bootlegging other companies movies and selling them. LOL

And don't think because they run big ads in AVN that they will pay you. You REALLY need to do your homework on anyone you may partner with for your movies.

I have a lead.. but general hardcore ain't that profitable for them anymore so the chances to take on even a very nice product are not too fancy...
