John McCain thinks we should pull troops out..

I always find it funny that back when Clinton was in office and we had the troops killed in Somalia, the Republicans bitched and moaned at Clinton saying we needed to pull troops out. Yet now they try to say Clinton cut and run. (despite the fact plans were already in progress to pull troops out prior to the battle of mog)

Yet Clinton stuck to the original time table pull out despite all the Republican pressure to pull troops out right away. Yet now the same Republicans that bitched and moaned about Clinton not pulling troops out fast enough claim Clinton cut and run.

Also one of the most out spoken about the need to pull troops out is now running on the exact opposite platform in Iraq. This is why I can't stand Republicans because the entire party is full of hypocrites that think everyone in this country has a memory of about 5 mins.

Oh common Baddog I know you can't have your head stuck so far up the ass of the GOP that you can't see this is nothing more than hypocrisy and what the Republican's love to call "Flip Flopping".

I am sorry, are you suggesting that if one takes a position about a conflict in one country, they must treat any and all future conflicts with the same position?

GetSCORECash 07-28-2008 07:03 PM

I believe Tim Russell used those same words on McCain.

I actually fear pulling our troops now, will make things worst. I would of agread with you several years back, but now the Petraeus is in charge and has quell the situation in Iraq, I would say that McCain and his surge have worked.

I want to get out of Iraq, like anyone else, but now that we are in it, we have to finish the job, not simply cut and run.

The recent trip by Obama, where he set a timetable, may have actually been a huge mistake. You can see that Petraeus, wasn't happy about it, by his response to the questions by the media.

So it's ok for him as a Republican to support pulling troops out of a war he didn't support, but it's not ok for a Democrat to want to pull troops out of a war they don't support?

Why is it not cut & running when it's McCain voting for it, but when Obama wants to pull troops out of Iraq it's suddenly cut and running? Words used by John McCain.. btw.

The troops will be pulled out when Israel tells America to do so.

How you can compare Somalia to Iraq is beyond me. Would you say that Grenada and Vietnam were interchangeable as well?

What a douche

Does this mean setting up a dictatorial puppet regime? I'm asking seriously, what does finishing the job mean?

Lets just face it. If Democrats say the color of the day is blue then republicans will just say that the color is Red and vice versa.

Our American Political parties are so fucking retarded they all need to be shot.
Our system just needs to start this fucking thing over. All these political fags think about are ways to steal and kill the average American.

No Social Security for my generation, no medical coverage for any generation unless of course they pay for it, no new roads, no safety from Oil prices yet each of us as American pay these fiends over 30% of our income every month and when one of our family members die we lose 50% of the inheritance... We give our money to complete morons with big mouths shit for braines and no balls to speak of.

May they all die a fucked and horrid death none of them give a fuck about any of us.

THe thing I dont get is the government paid all these firms for the rebuilding iraq and they still dont have power 7 days a week or clean water and a 50% unemployment rate. Until those things are fixed the fighting wont stop.

AlienQ - BANNED FOR LIFE 07-28-2008 07:46 PM

Right about now Americans should be in the streets burning buildings and rioting in front of the WHite House till the mother fucker burns to the ground and everyone inside is dead.

Considering the "so called" Iraqi govt has drug it's feet at every possible turn then why the fuck is it not the same as Somalia? The Iraqi govt feels free to take vacations while our troops are there dieing in their streets. I say either they need to step the fuck up or we step the fuck out.

I wont commit on Grenada and Vietnam because I was a bit too young to know what went on other than what history books tell us. So it's hard to form a accurate opinion on something I didn't experience directly considering there is so much bias on the subjects from both sides.
