China GDP per capita is $2000, 20 times less than in North America and Europe.

Adidas are fuckers for saying this. I pay $250 for soccer boots. $250 to put something on my feet to kick a ball around with!! They know they will be ruined within a year and I'll pay that again for another pair. The boots probably cost around $20 to make if that.

Adidas also said, that if the shoes were made in Germany the price per pair would be 500 euro. which is absolutely ridiculous since most of the work isn't even manual labour i suppose (or wouldn't be manual labour if those asians wouldn't be that cheap).
