Trust me, I know allll about the "make your own board" thing... even had people from this board come to our board and flame us there... it doesn't work. I ended up banning them all. You can't run a board and think it is going to work out the same, and people will come there to chat with you. It will not. This board works. The owners do not make threads crying, and stay rather neutral. I could go on and on. In fact, I could probably do some serious message board consulting with my experience.

If he really wanted to help out bad biz practices, he should run a site, not a board, with the information. Then he could present it here. But I think he just gets too caught up in the drama here... been there done that, it happens.

It can be difficult when you feel powerless to change something that you think should be changed. For his stuggle in that, I commend him. However we all know his efforts here are mostly futile. Its just a chat board, really. Its not the end all to the adult industry chatter.

Doing both would be even more effective. One informational site from one webmaster is too few, unless linked to from several other webmasters' sites on the same subject, which, in turn, would be linked to from various other sites said webmasters own.
