The Strangers = worst movie of 2008
 

I just seen it on it's opening day last night, got the VIP recliners, lots of food, drink and popcorn, and watched with my gf and friends.

It was the worst movie of 2008 by FAR! :disgust

Anyone else see it? opinions please!

I liked the trialer, what was so bad about it? :)

The movie makes absolutely NO sense. You are made to believe it'll all come to sense at the end, but then, BAM!!!! the movie just ends!!!! It actually made me angry for the rest of the night last night :disgust

Imagine how much it would have sucked without those comfy seats

I loved the premise of the movie, ran right and saw it...I wanted my money back. Not impressed at all.xxx

I was in same boat as you, I actually thought of a way to get my money back, but I'd rather try through the actual movie company, it's not the movie theatre's fault imho

I doubt it was as bad as Meet the Spartans, The Brothers Soloman was pretty terrible too

Started to watch it, then turned the tv off because I was scared.

Atleast for me.... the movie ended like I thought it would. Not really sure what you were expecting.

I really liked The Strangers. Slow but very good I thought. better than Ironman. I thought Ironman sucked.

Seriously now that is the worst movie I have ever seen.

If you realized that it makes no sense at the end, then you got the point. You're just so hung up on expecting one thing --- but you got another.

I really wanted to see these 2 people get back at the intruders somehow. Of course they were too fucking stupid, but that's beside the point. At the end, it could have went that way -- with the heroes finding a way to turn the tables on them, but would that really be satisfying? Haven't you seen that before? The movie is basically saying is that people are fucked up, life is unfair and our destinies are random. I didn't like the ending too much, but I appreciate the fact that:

a. They did something totally unexpected and just plain fucking cold.

b. They gave me some pretty suspenseful and creepy moments along the way.
