The New X-Files Movie...where's the hype and marketing? I had almost forgotten that the new X-Files movie is opening this weekend... I finally saw an ad spot for it... Am I just watching the wrong tv shows/channels or is there a serious lack of marketing for this movie? Do they just assume all of the fans will know and turn out in droves? |

mabye they know it sucks and people wont show up in droves even if they do waste millions on advertising ;) |

I was a huge X-Files fan in the 90's but I'm not excited about this at all, it's way too late. |

I was just wondering the same thing earlier. Pretty sad that it's not getting any media attention. I'll still be there opening day. |

I seen a lot of magazine covers, TV guide shit, some commercials and such. Mostly shit while waiting in line at the supermarket checkout though. Can honestly say I lost interest the second I saw one of the commercials at the precise moment it showed someone with that stupid ass black oil crap leaking from their eyeballs. Right then I knew I would not be interested in the movie at all. I watched the TV show every week and the shit that pissed me off the most was the pure conspiracy episodes. At first they were tolerable, then eventually they just went batshit insane and boring as all hell. |
