That's an exaggeration. Even then it was difficult. You'd have to know exactly which niche sold well on there, and you'd better be doing it right.

Fuck I remember posting a image gallery with 25 pics one time and good god that hurt... I've never seen so much bandwidth burned in so little time... so glad I did basically nothing the rest of the billing cycle, or else i'd be paying overage charges!

The Hun will always be around, but I believe his days of being the biggest site with the most traffic are over.

I used to submit a couple galleries a week and thehun accepted quite a few of them over the years.

MEH! give it a break. How many thousands? It's a numbers game, and the odds are getting longer every year. Don't care if it's the Hun - it's still up to content, gallery, image, tour....

And patience. Sorry, but that's it.

I don't know your numbers so I don't know what to tell you, but there's a certain ratio (like 1:10,000 or so) that you have to live with. Ratios get better the longer you're on, though, so...

No way, many people made 0 sales on thehun even in 99. I used to make 20-30 sales on thehun with the right template, years ago, now make still 20-30 sales, nothing changed.

Did you pay for the listing? If so, it's bad.

Did the bandwidth for serving out the gallery to the freeloaders cost more than your return from the single sale? If so, it's bad.

Is the time it took to prepare and submit the gallery worth more than the net $ you have in your pocket after subtracting hosting and any other expenses from your payout? If so, it's bad.

In January I made 14 sales with a gallery, since that time the most was 3... And same site, different content but almost the same style/layout: 0 and 2 sales...

The best is to use one template once. The more you use it, the worse will sales get, of course.

none - the hun gets revenue from pre-paid gallery placements on the top 15 spaces and
banners. the rest of the galleries are free placements.

U must suck at the internets.

Made 16 sales in 1 day last week with a hun listing.. sometimes I get only get 1 - 2
