what would be the health consequences of eating just 1 meal per day?

That's about all I eat, why? Well with maybe a snack later in the day.

Would vary, if you do nothing all day one large meal may be adequate for you. Personally i have 6 meals per day but i do over 2 hours of exercise every day so i need to eat a lot.

if the theory is right you gain more fat if you eat just once cause the body burns slower when he notices that there are times he doesn't get anything - so he saves for those times
plus the actual digesting process needs energy as well and therefore more little meals burn more energy. and then there are theories that claim the exact opposite... |
Depends on what you eat and if you supplement, but you can really fuck up your metabolic activity long term.

i personally believe it will lead to heart disease
when your body doesnt eat regularly..it will most likely store food as fat and then get into a habit of using that fat when it needs it etc it will put strain on your heart eating once a day is stupid...sorry but its true |

Eating only once a day won't be healthy in the long term.
You will gradually develop peptic ulcer. The stomach needs something to digest at least every four hours. Otherwise, the gastric acid inside will create inflammation over time. So better eat 3 times a day (not necessarily heavy). :2 cents: |
