Question about expired domain purchase
 

Question:

How do you find out about a domain someone is selling so you can tell if it is tainted or has any red-flags about it?

I can't believe that you asked that question as I just logged on to ask the same thing. Bought a great expired domain yesterday and thought about that in the middle of the night.

Good tool if You want to buy domain with PR to find if it's not spoofed.

Well mine was one I wanted a couple of years ago and it was taken. I wanted it for an mainstream site idea that I'd forgotten about until yesterday. Checked and viola! There it was available.

Then I got to thinking, 'This is too good to be true, what's the catch?' Guess none.
