I still use digg, though it has gone to shit a bit with the same stories repeating themselves (Obama, etc). I am sure Google could do something nice with it though, maybe even fix up the joke of a recommendation engine.

Digg was a good idea the guy is a dork tho.

Not sure what they plan on doing with it. I can see buying Youtube, but not sure where Digg will go in the future.

I got bored of it after every story was either about how heroic Pirate Bay is, how amazing Obama is, or how perfect Apple is.

Rose owns digg.com just cause hes not the CEO doesn't mean he doesn't own it, just means he doesn't believe he can run it as a company.

not too long ago, he reported this site www.jaredremembered.com as being real news on digg, twitter, pownce and a few others. i almost shit when i woke up and my e-mail was full of reporters trying contact me.

i think he really thought he was breaking real news.

Getting on the front page of Digg can make you 1K - 10K a day if you have the right product. Why would someone sell it for chump change?
