How do you make flash videos from windows media videos?
 

What kind of windows software do you use to make flash videos? Not server based but something I can do o my laptop.

You only need a video converter to do what you would like. Check your file extension of your original video and Google it... for example... WMV to SWF and include in your search freeware... there should be a fair amount to choose from... good luck.

I was thinking about setting up a dedicated box here at home.
... set up a loop with python( free open source easy peasy ) and ffmpeg to just convert movies all day long and when I'm asleep to .flv

then all I have to do is upload them to where they will sucking bandwidth.
you just use one swf for everything.

I was using flash8 and other "converting tools" for a few of things I've done with "tube" movies but its a drag converting them ...

Im just not convinced tubes are worth a shit. I was checking out TUBE1 and I noticed an ad next to the movie. "Free Porn Click Here" .... mmmmkay ...

does anybody really know where this shit is going ?

for some reason I think a mainstream tube isn't such a bad idea with user uploads.
I still can't understand how a 20 minute tube movie does anything but get the surfer off and ....
